Campaign Overview & Campaign Measurement - Solar Industry



In the previous blog I laid out the content, creative and communication campaign for an organisation from the Solar Industry. In this blog I will lay out a broad outline of quarterly activities to achieve the campaigns I had highlighted and the monitoring and measurement metrics for these.


Broad outline of quarterly activities:

  • April May June

    • Launch a social media campaign promoting the company's commitment to sustainability and renewable energy.

    • Host a webinar series focused on the benefits of solar energy for businesses.

    • Launch a digital campaign that encourages customers to share their personal stories about how solar energy has impacted their lives.

    • Conduct a survey to gather feedback from customers on their experiences with the company's products and services.

    • Host a webinar series focused on the installation process for solar panels.

    • Create one video a month for the Solar for a Better World campaign.

    • Launch the Solar Voices podcast and promote it through different digital channels.

  • July August September

    • Launch a digital campaign promoting the company's solar-powered products for large commercial and industrial applications.

    • Host a webinar series focused on the benefits of solar energy for large commercial and industrial businesses.

    • Launch a social media campaign promoting the company's commitment to environmental sustainability.

    • Host a Facebook Live event to showcase the company's manufacturing process and highlight its sustainability efforts.

    • Partner with influencers to launch the Solar Champions campaign.

    • Launch the Light Up India with Liter of Light campaign.

    • Launch a social media campaign highlighting the company's involvement in charitable efforts and its commitment to social responsibility.

    • Create one video a month for the Solar for a Better World campaign.

    • Continue with the Solar Voices podcast.

  • October November December

    • Launch a digital campaign promoting the company's solar-powered products for schools and universities.

    • Launch a digital campaign promoting the company's solar-powered products for small businesses.

    • Host a virtual conference focused on solar energy for educational institutions.

    • Host a virtual conference focused on solar energy for small businesses.

    • Launch a social media campaign promoting the company's corporate social responsibility initiatives during the holiday season.

    • Launch the Solar Explorers campaign through a series of Instagram posts that showcase the beauty of solar installations around the world.

    • Launch the Solar Adventures campaign partnering with influencers

    • Create one video a month for the Solar for a Better World campaign

    • Continue with the Solar Voices podcast.

  • January February March

    • Launch a digital campaign promoting the company's solar-powered products for homes.

    • Host a webinar series focused on the installation process for home solar panels.

    • Launch the Solar Solutions website or app and promote it across all digital channels.

    • Launch a social media campaign celebrating the company's milestone achievements in renewable energy.

    • Host a virtual conference focused on the future of solar energy and its impact on the environment.

    • Create one video a month for the Solar for a Better World campaign

    • Continue with the Solar Voices podcast.


Monitoring and Measurement:


To monitor and measure the effectiveness of the digital campaigns, we will use the following tools:

  • Google Analytics: Use Google Analytics to track website traffic, measure engagement, and monitor the success of our campaigns.

  • Social Media Listening Tools: Use social media listening tools such as Hootsuite Insights and Brandwatch to monitor social media conversations about Vikram Solar, track engagement, and identify opportunities to engage with customers.

  • Webinar Tracking Tools: Use webinar tracking tools such as GoToWebinar and Zoom to measure attendance, engagement, and feedback from attendees.

  • Survey Tracking Tools: Use survey tracking tools such as SurveyMonkey to measure customer satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Influencer Marketing Tools: Use influencer marketing tools such as Upfluence and AspireIQ to measure engagement and ROI for our influencer campaigns.
